This was my first visit to Takashi Murakami’s exhibition, due to these busy days I never found time to attend any event or go to any art exhibitions. And now that Im finally and happily graduated from high-school, I’ll be able to spend more time with art.
Anyhow, here all of Murakami’s works were a treat to my eyes. They were all so huge and beautiful with all kinds of colors in it. At the entrance of the exhibition hall, I ended up staring at this gigantic statue of his for a very long time, I mean, it truly looks so real. Along with it, there were many other works of his in a separate hall, and I have to say, he has got a really wild imagination and looking at every detail of his work was a truly ‘wow’ expression that I had on my face. All of his works had some story behind it and somehow he has happened to collabrate the old and new styles of work into his pieces.
These kind of art exhibitions should be often held in Qatar, it’d be really nice to see and explore art in this manner. Hope this year, we get more chances to see many other art exhibitions too.
